Doublesix, developer of South Park Let’s Go Tower Defense Play, just announced their upcoming game Strike Suit Zero. While the teaser trailer is all tease and no gameplay, the announcement post does give some hints as to what Strike Suit Zero will play like.

(Strike Zuit Zero is) An arcade space combat game, which has transformable spacecraft known as “strike suits”, that can shift between two modes of flight. The game will also feature the work of mechanical designer Junji Okubo (Steel Battalion, Infinite Space) as well as music from composer Paul Ruskay (Homeworld).

Presumably players will be controlling these flight suits and doing much flight mode switching, but if this game is more Ace Combat or more Armored Core is yet to be seen. Either way, we’ll be seeing more very soon as the game will be featured at Gamescom and is set to arrive sometime Q1 2012.
