ReddX is the new app available on Xbox one that allows users to browse Reddit, comment, up vote, down vote, and view images or videos. The Achievements that are available with the app are extremely indicative of what the Reddit culture is all about. The humor driven, statistically hilarious, and too honest nature of the achievements will really grab the funny bone of anyone who has spent time on the site. The integration of this app allows players to snap it in and communicate with other Redditors while playing a game. There is plenty of potential for this beyond just browsing the many dark halls of Reddit, ideally a game guide could be pulled up in a pinch, or a screenshot of a confusing area. This is yet another interesting use of the Xbox One’s snap feature, and may see regular use.
