If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be an octopus fathering human children — and let’s face it, who hasn’t? — you’re about to find out. Young Horses Games will release Octodad: Dadliest Catch on Xbox One Wednesday, August 26 for $14.99, the developer announced on Twitter.
Along with the core game, the Xbox release will also include the free Shorts DLC. Young Horses previously announced that Shorts would include 40 new objectives, at least 20 breakable plates and “probably a pizza.”
Dadliest Catch is the sequel to 2010’s Octodad, a DePaul University student project. The sequel first released on PC in January 2014 before later making its way to PlayStation platforms. The series centers around the eponymous dad who’s doing his best to fool society into thinking he’s just a regular human dad, despite the reality of his existence as a cephalopod mollusc.
