Lots of new indie games are set to hit Xbox One this month. First up we have the bizarre Soda Drinker Pro arriving April 14. Dubbed a First Person Soda Simulation game, Soda Drinker Pro sees players wandering around weird and wonderful lands whilst drinking soda. With tongue firmly in cheek, developers Snowrunner Productions are calling it the Citizen Kane of video games. It does however have Kinect support, achievements and a powerful soda physics engine. Apparently. Check out the trippy trailer below.
Next we have the delightful looking Skyling: Garden Defense from Mighty Studios launching on Xbox One April 19. Players take control of a young Skyling named Bloom who has seen her world overrun by Blight Monsters. Bloom must work to reclaim her gardens with the help of some sleepy cats. Skyling: Garden Defense is an arcade game that borrows familiar mechanics from classic games like Pac-Man, Q*Bert and Crystal Castles.
Finally, the enchanting Lumo makes its debut on Xbox One on April 22. Lumo is described as a contemporary take on the isometric platform genre that was highly popular in the eighties and early nineties. With over 400 rooms across four zones, six hidden mini-games and all kinds of wonders to uncover, developers Triple Eh? Ltd are describing Lumo is a true voyage of discovery.
