One of the next projects coming from Iron Galaxy — the studio that brought Super Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition to XBLA in August — appears to be an XBLA game entitled Wreckateer. Siliconera sniffed out the game’s existence thanks to a listing on the Australian classification board.

The listing names Microsoft Game Studios as the publisher, which means it will likely be exclusive to the Xbox 360. A quick peek at the developer’s website confirms Microsoft is indeed the publishing partner. “We are currently developing an original game for Microsoft Studios,” reads the site. No specific details on the project are available at this time. However, Iron Galaxy has taken to Twitter to announce that they will be making, well, announcements next month.

“Look for two big announcements from us in February,” tweeted the developer. “Finally getting close to talking about some awesome projects we’ve been working on.”

Wreckateer is almost certainly one of the unveilings the tweet alludes to, as evidenced by the next message they released over Twitter. “One of the February announcements is our partnership with the Australian ratings board to tighten their security,” the developer joked.

In addition to said “original game,” the Chicago-based studio is also working on an unannounced title for Capcom, a project using Twisted Pixel’s Beard engine and a “tech heavy project” for 2K Games.
