Every year in Culver City, California, a celebration of independently-developed games is held. The organizers of 2011’s IndieCade had the tough job of finding 36 finalists out of 446 entries. Every game will be playable at IndieCade, but the finalists are in the running to win the ten awards that will be given out. Out of the 36 finalists, we see Fez from Polytron Corp and Skulls of the Shogun from Haunted Temple Studios. Both games will be released on XBLA later this year. Also on the list is the already-released and fantastically-named XBLIG title PewPewPewPewPewPewPewPewPew by Incredible Ape. IndieCade will run from October 8 to 9, with advanced admission at $12 or $15 at the door. Congrats to all the developers in the finalists, we anxiously await to play your games!
