Hothead working on Hitchhiker’s Guide game, platform unknown
Grab your towels, Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy fans, because it looks like a new game is being made based on the classic series of novels. Above is the teaser image for HHGTTG, and a teaser website has also been found. Very little is currently known about the latest adaptations of the interstellar comedy saga by Douglas Adams other than being developed by Hothead Games. Among the missing bits of information are what platforms this game may or may not be released on or when. With Hothead’s last few titles being primarily downloadable, we hope this will be no different.
Along with the announcement Hothead’s Joel DeYoung had this to say to VG247, “The quirky and hilarious universe that Douglas Adams created became an instant classic for so many. All the hoopiest froods here at Hothead jumped on the chance to work on the project.” Sounds like the game is in the loving hands of a good publisher, so don’t panic.
XBLA Fans is in the process of contacting Hothead to confirm more about HHGTTG, but as of the writing of this post there is no comment.
