Major Nelson reported recently via Twitter that Games with Gold, the popular promotion that gives two free games to Xbox Live Gold subscribers every month, is headed to Xbox One:

Games with Gold was originally intended to be a shorter promotion for the Xbox 360 to create hype for the Xbox One and was supposed to end on December 31st, 2013. However, due to the popularity of the program, Games with Gold on the Xbox 360 was extended indefinitely. It appears that demand for the initiative was so great that Microsoft has decided to continue it on their next-gen console.
