Kotaku recently became the first members of the public to play Doodle Jump Kinect, the motion sensor enabled version of the popular mobile game Doodle Jump that’s currently in development for Xbox 360. The team at Lima Sky has taken the game’s concept of vertical exploration and translated it to take advantage of the Xbox 360’s Kinect accessory, asking the player to sidestep left and right to hop around on screen, and raise their arm to fire weapons. Unlike the mobile version of the game, Doodle Jump Kinect has set level designs and checkpoints, doing away with the mobile versions randomly generated content. You can get a glimpse at the game (which hasn’t quite been confirmed as XBLA yet, but we fully expect it to be) by heading over to Kotaku and watching their gameplay video which is accompanied by an interview with one of the team members at Lima Sky.
