The first six games to join the Game Pass catalogue in 2019 have been revealed, including further additions from the Life is Strange series.

Over the holidays, the Game Pass catalogue expanded with the complete first season of Life is Strange on December 20th and the mini-series prologue Life is Strange: Before the Storm on December 27th. Beginning January 3rd, Episode 1 of Season 2, the only episode from the current season to be released at this time, will be joining them.

Life-is-Strange-2

Life is Strange 2 follows brothers Sean and Daniel as they flee their home in this episodic adventure. Even better for Game Pass subscribers: Episodes 2 through 5 will also be joining the catalogue, though there was no word whether that meant day-and-date inclusion at their release(s) or if they would be joining some time afterwards.

Two more games will be joining the Game Pass catalogue on January 3rd: Ark: Survival Evolved and Farming Simulator 17. In Ark, try to survive in a world filled with dinosaurs – and, the biggest threat of all, other players. The goal of Farming Simulator 17 is to become the best farmer you can be. You and your tractor(s), living your best lives.

January 7th will see another game join the line-up: Absolver. Three days later on January 10th it’s time to round out the as-yet confirmed list of games with Just Cause 3 and Aftercharge.

More titles are set to be announced for inclusion in the Game Pass library later in the month…
