Spartacus Legends, the forthcoming gladiatorial fighter out of Ubisoft, is set to take the worldwide stage starting June 26 on Xbox Live Arcade. Developed by Kung Fu Factory in collaboration with the Starz television series, Legends is free-to-play, allowing you to mold helpless wads of slave-meat into hardened gladiators before working them in the virtual coliseum in blood-soaked fights to the (permanent) death.

You’ll be able to customize your combatants through a variety of fighting styles and weapon disciplines: the heavy hammer, dual daggers, sword and board, and so on. Work your way up through the fight-for-fortune circuit, earning coin to purchase better weapons and armor, and fame to unlock new opponents and arenas.
