Start filling your mana pool, because the latest installment of Wizards of the Coast’s Duels of the Planeswalkers series hits next month (the trailer for which is above, courtesy Machinima). Magic: The Gathering – Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 is set to hit XBLA worldwide June 20. It will also release on PSN, Steam, PC and iPad (notably, this will be the first installment to release on Apple’s tablet). Previous installments of the seemingly now-annual series have sold for 800 MSP, but there’s no official word yet on whether that will be the case with 2013.

Also released today were seven new screenshots of the game in action, courtesy of Gamergeddon (which can be viewed below). The Planeswalkers series replicates the gameplay of the wildly popular Magic: The Gathering collectible card game, which has been going strong since it debuted in 1993.
