So if you’re like us, you find Microsoft Points to be one of the most annoying things out there. For one thing, why couldn’t 100 points equate to a dollar, instead of 80 points? To make matters worse, points were sold in bundles of 500 until this past week. For those of you familiar with Xbox Live Arcade titles, you’re probably used to trying to figure out what to do with that extra 200 points left over after a purchase.

We love the ability to do micro-transactions when needed, but it would have really helped the arithmetically inept of us out there if the system had used a bit more logic. Thankfully, Microsoft has heard our pleas and decided to change the bundling of points purchase through Xbox Live to match more realistic sales figures, (400, 800, 1600, 4000). And to be honest, we couldn’t be happier.
