Titanfall was one of the most-anticipated Xbox One releases thus far, but on its March 11 launch the only-online shooter ran into an unfortunate problem. Xbox Live server issues prevented many pilots from entering the battlefield, and Microsoft confirmed that the issues had nothing to do with the game’s launch. Microsoft will be making up for the inconvenience by giving players a free week of Xbox Live Gold, along with an apology. Users who could not sign onto their account on March 11 will soon be getting notification of their free week via the Xbox Live Messaging system.
