Following a trial earlier in the year UK game retailer GAME and their sister store Gamestation have started selling  XBLA games in all their stores this week.  Sold alongside the MS points cards, you can now pick up a card for a downloadable copy of the XBLA game of your choice. The download code is then printed on your receipt at the till which may disappoint fans hoping to get a game case or gift card with their purchase. Shoppers are also able to collect loyalty points on these purchases on their GAME or Gamestation cards. So far the range is limited although big sellers like Castle Crashers and Trials HD are available as well as DLC for some retail games. A 1200 title retails for £9.99 which is just over 15 bucks.

Will this bring a truckload of new fans to XBLA or do you see this a just a wasted trip to the shops? Let us know what you think in the comments section.
