WayForward has made a name for themselves recently making solid 2D action platformers with very impressive 2D visuals. So it really shouldn’t come as any surprise that the first gameplay footage for their XBLA title Bloodrayne: Betrayal shows what appears to be a solid 2D action platformer with very impressive 2D visuals.

The trailer shows alot of fast-paced action and along with the soundtrack gives off an impression of a more action-oriented Castlevania. Expect to see Bloodrayne on XBLA sometime this summer.
